Bun B (born Bernard Freeman in 1973) and fellow Southern rapper, Pimp C, formed the popular southern rap duo named UGK. Both Bun B and Pimp C found much success through UGK, but that success was short lived after Pimp C was sent to jail in 2003. Bun B continued his career and is still featured in many hit rap singles to this day. He is most known for his influence in the southern rap game, but Bun B also has a passion that many are not aware of, sneakers.
The year 2008 proved to be amazing for sneakers. Releases ranged from the release of the last numbered sneaker in the Air Jordan line, the Air Jordan XX3 (23), all the way to Nike’s classic model, the Nike Air Force 1, being brought back in many new and amazing colorways in ’08. Many consider the past year to be one of the best ever in respect to sneakers and we hope it is only a sign that 2009 will be even better. We will be doing our part in ’09 to keep you updated in all aspects of the sneaker game and we hope that you find our hard work worth your time.

I was curious to see what people thought about this particular post since Bun B put his favorites up and see the responses to Greedy Genius shoe being his favorite over one from my line. To each his own is what I say. And to respond to:THE STANDARD AKA THE FOOTWORK KING. I do wear a pair of ALL of the shoes we produce for the open market. I keep 6 pair for myself since my initial prototype shoe that was presented to me at my meeting with Nike in 1984 which at first did not have the original Air Jordan logo just the words Air Jordan stamped on the uppers in my personal collection of shoes. The reason for 6 is it represents the 6 rings I earned. I do check in now and then to see what kind of response is being submitted to the shoes we are putting out.

I don't have any of the shoes I played in. That's mostly because they sucked.
That said, I still enjoy the world of basketball shoes.
What I don't like is stupid "best of" lists from so-so rappers that stay on the top of Sneakerfiles.com for days on end.

In 30 years of camping and backpacking I've never felt the need to purchase expensive freeze dried food, nor heavy MRE's. Everything I want to eat while camping, backpacking or hiking is available at my local grocery store. Cheese, crackers, dried fruit, fresh fruit, corn chips, bread, salami, Gatorade, foil packets of chicken and tuna, Snicker's bars, nuts, sunflower seeds, stuffing mix, powdered potatoes, instant oatmeal, soup mixes, boxed meals like Zatarain's Red Beans & Rice, Near East Med Curry Couscous.
