Over the course of the past few weeks, he Air Jordan 2009 has developed a few unofficial monikers such as the Air Jordan XXIV (24) and Air Jordan 2K9. Unfortunately, credible information has yet to metriculate from the Jordan Brand camp, so we only have pictures to talk about. This AJ 2009 features an all-black patent leather upper, elegant sculpting, and a Jumpman hologram. Gold is the secondary color of the sneaker and is located at the heel, front and inside of the shoe. No word yet on official release date, but be sure to check back for updates. Via Fatboy Kickz.

these look like great hooping shoes but for 190$ they need to look a little bit better
jordan brand is putting themsleves in a hole by creating all these *** *** shoes. stop fusions and teams and get some new colorways with some classic jordans that don’t have many retros

I just can’t understand the backlash of this shoe. Yeah these are great hoop shoes but these look so good Spike Lee will likely wear this shoe in this scheme to both the Golden Globes and Oscars and get praised for it. Now that I’ve seen the detailed pics wish I could preorder them from Footlocker…except Footlocker doesn’t do preorders. Out!
jordan played for the tarheels? right not the HIGHHEELS….i say we as jordan collectors get together and GO ON STRIKE AND NOT BUY THESE, ITS THE ONLY WAY FOR NIKE TO STOP DISRESPECTING US LIKE THIS. I hope they are calling it 2009 instead of 24, because they are going to make an another model for the real 24. THE ONLY WAY NIKE CAN redeem themselfs is by making a real 24 FOR MEN, NOT HIGH HEELS……or coming out with another retro INFRARED 6.

I completely agree. If you are a TRUE JORDAN FAN, you should make sure that no one buys these shoes so that we can redirect JB to make decent shoes, not Payless shoes. and KRIS- Spike Lee better NOT wear these!

okay check me out.though they bascally look like the 14’s wit the 20’s bottom and the 11’s patent leather,these look like they gon be some of the most comfortable to wear on and off the court.the simple design makes them easir to either wear or play in.get over yourselves cause u all r goin to cop a pair.im gonna have every color they come out wit mark my words.

You know I just looked in my own AJ collection of shoes that had similar heels to this shoe (like a heel that was bigger than the standard bball shoe heel) and I found 3: The XIX SE’s, the 8’s and the XX2’s. And when those dropped as new or retro I don’t think anybody was clowning on those 3 models. It’s just like with the XX3’s: you hated them when you saw the first photos but when they released and you saw them at Footlocker or NikeTown in the flesh you bought ‘em up all the same so I don’t see that changin’ now. Out!
