After months of anticipation, the Air Jordan 11/12 Countdown Pack can now be confirmed with the Air Jordan XI (11) Black / Red and Air Jordan XII (12) Taxi. The tenth Air Jordan Countdown Pack consists of the “Bred” Air Jordan XI which is made up of the signature black, true red and white color scheme. The “Bred” Air Jordan XI is paired with another great sneaker, an Air Jordan XII made up of black, varsity red and cement grey. Release is set for December 26th, 2008, dropping one day after Christmas. More pictures of the upcoming package can be found after the jump. Have thoughts about this Countdown Pack? By far the best pack. I’m a sucker for the original colorways. Never been one for much change. I won’t be copping these though, unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) I got both of these already. Man, It would have been a good look though.

I have all the packs so far and I was really hoping for the 12’s to be white and red. The Space jams would have been great too but lets face it, it doesn’t matter what the 11’s are cause they are automatic when it comes to copping them. The white and red 12’s would have really set this pack off but either way I have to get it cause I have to complete the countdown collection. Dang that hurt, I want the white and red 12’s.

These are trash, the XI’s are horrible, look at the cut of the patent leather. Also, look at the Taxi’s the quilting is not even noticeable. I’ll stick to retro’s, the hype is terrible. You people will be disappointing when RD comes.
I was staying away from the countdown packs but that 11 just throws me completely off. I suppose I will have to buy it just for those 11’s. Probably will only wear them on the court and at night when I stick my ***** inside. Other than that I will keep em in the box. >>>> Double buy collecting is just stupid, sneakers are factory made rubber and plastic. It’s a damn shame they are retroing…well re retroing the breds again. The hype on these is insane. I’m going to see everybody and they’re mother w/ these the “sneakerheads” and hoodrats. The XIs look ok…but i notice alot of differences..and the quality will probably be ****. The Taxis are nice to see being retroed. I’m not hating on the back just stating my opinion. And those who cop….my hat is off to you.

Ithink everyone will agree that the 11’s aren’t that bad of a choice but the 12’s are just average I remember getting these 12s in the lo just a few years ago when they re- released all of the 12s and I got them all I would think that sometime in the near future jordan would put an ear to the street and give us all what we want … the 12s in whte and red.. if they were smart they would.
I hope this is a heads up on 09′ to make better looking and better quality shoes. But I perfer the Space Jam XI’s and Bred XII’s.

I’m just waiting for confirmation on stuff that will certainly rise some eyebrows in terms of surprises, once 2009 comes around (wink), besides, Black Friday will become a bit too much (3 pairs of XX3), good luck 2-All…

these are a definate yes! love both the shoes. the white and red xii’s would have been ok too but i think i like the taxi’s. what would have topped off the pack would have been the black/white playoff xii’s. for all you sniffling about the xi’s not bein the space jams, i heard they coming back out in 2009, thats just what i heard anywayz. may be wrong. hope not though

I’m copping. This is the best cdp of em all(I have all but the 1/22, 2/21, 8/15). It’s a great way to end the year, and JB is pretty smart to release these the day after Christmas, which happens to fall on a Friday this year.I predict that this pack won’t sellout as expected though.

Saving the best for last in the AJ XI (especially in its most popular color scheme) a quick warning to anyone who wants this come XMAS.
Now I don’t work for any corporation whose gonna sell this Collezione set but based on past sales numbers with the XI (and the fact last time it was released it alledgedly set a world’s record for fastest shoe to sell out of its quantity stock online), if you’re not at Footlocker.com, Eastbay.com or Nike.com’s store site at 8:55PM PST on XMAS night don’t bother trying to buy it. This is just an educated guess but here’s how the sale of this set is going to go down:

Before I heard this pack was coming out I knew that when ever they retroed the XII‘s I was going to buy at least two pair. Then I heard hey they are bringing out the 11/ 12 pack my holy grails I was floored. So I knew it was going to be a big release. I called my fam and told them we were going to have to camp for these. I live in Houston so we had our fair share of place to camp out. I started scouting places to camp out back in October. It finally came down to Northline and Gulfgate . The were both had footlockers and Footaction’s in brand new strip centers and we could camp out at the front door v.s. trying to maneuver in the mall. I’ve tried the mall but it has not worked since I was in high school. A 28 yr old man trespassing to get some shoes is a bit embarrassing. So now I am contemplating Northline and Gulfgate and I go with Gulfgate its mostly Hispanic populated and they aren’t as problematic as black folks (by the way I am black), my girl mom lives down the street from there and there is a Precinct 7 Constable substation in the strip center and we all in Houston that you mess with HPD and you really don’t mess with the Constable’s. By this time its November and have a job but it does not matter because release date is Dec. 26 I’m off. Then its changed to the 20, I have to work the 20 early no biggie. I will order online then go wait in line and have my girl take my spot if they don’t open before I go to work. So up until the Monday before general release (Note: by this time Sharpstown has already been selling for at least a week at $500 and somewhere else for $550) I get word the spot down the street may sell them early or wait for a Saturday release. They ended up getting them Thursday evening and a cousin bought them for $450 and I figured at that price I could have been had them through PYS.com. He tries to convince us that we should do it as well and that my plan won’t work. So we tell him he was a d%&n fool to pay that much. At this point I’m on a mission from God to show him my plan works. After a non successful attempt to purchase them on NDC.com in their little fiasco we steered the course right into Friday afternoon where everthing fell apart. At 7:30p my brother calls and says there is a couple at Footaction in Gulfgate and this was about 5:00p. Why are just relaying this to me now and he says he wanted to bathe. At this point my girl is gone out for the night I can’t go over. So I call her to see if she was in the area and she tells me there are about 30 people in line. At this point I can’t camp now I need to try and order online. So my brother goes to Northline and he’s 6 people back. I go pick up a baby cousin and drop him off their too to buy my pack. I go home and all the shoe sites crash. I get to the cc info and nothing. I do this until they say sold out. NDC had not release them yet and at this point I need to get some sleep. I tried to sleep from 2:45 until 5:45 the time awake for work. I get call after 7 and my cousin tells me he was not able to get them and I was paying him to wait out there for me. So now I’m at work pissed. I call my homeboy that wears j’s but never answers the phone. Suprisingly he answers and I asked if he got them or was trying to get them. He says he was looking at them as I called but passed on them because he already has the like 8 pairs of the og Xi’s locked in air tight storage. But his brother that works at Footaction bought himself a 12 (also has multiple pairs of the XI’s ogs) and hates that he bought them and suggested I take them off of his hands. I figured hey it’s a try and asked how much (at this point I think I am about to get taxed out the ***) and he says $250. I say yeah right and I asked if it was a men’s shoe and said yes and reminded me they are actually 335 w/ tax. Just as I was going to interrupt him with a “HELL YEAH ILL BUY THEM” MY brother called and said his connect came through with 3 and all for $247 each no tax no shipping. I clicked back over and told my home boy that yes I did want them. But that’s not it I have a Chase CC and debit card and a debit card for my Credit Union. I used each of these on Eastbay and Finishline and I guess the all hit because I got 6 order confirmations this morning on a Tuesday delivery. I probably sell on Craigslist for $360 I think that should be the best thing to do.
