Rap artist Wale was seen in the latest issue of Dime Magazine sporting the upcoming ‘Eggplant’ Air Foamposite 1 in an ad for LRG. Wale has been known to have strong ties to the sneaker community including companies like Nike. As for the sneakers, they are made up of the traditional combination of black and varsity purple as well as regular sole, as opposed to the icy sole seen on the samples seen in June. However, most will have to wait till February 2009 and pay $200 to get their hands on these.

When I saw them Im pretty sure the sole was CLEAR he had em at an event here in the city…Sneakerfiles got there info fucked up IF there judging off that picture, unles they have really seen them.

gum sole is the brown sole thats the same color as the gum eraser….where it got its name from…
