A Sneaker Tribute to DJ AM (Adam Goldstein)

This past weekend, Adam Goldstein AKA “DJ AM” was severely injured in a plane crash. Also in the plane were AM’s drummer, Travis Barker (formerly of Blink 182) and additional family and friends. The crash was deadly, but AM and Barker survived. Without getting into the gruesome details (which are all over the news), we would like to pay a little video homage to DJ AM, the sneaker head who calls his sneaker cellar “the icebox!”
Here’s a clip of DJ AM’s appearance in Entourage, where he competes with “Vince” and “Turtle” for a pair of the shoes we now call the Undefeated (UNDFTD) Entourage Air Force 1.

what are the odds that the only 2 famous people on the plane were the only ones to survive? kinda weird but hopefully they get well soon.

sad turn of events. I wonder what they are going to do with his sneaker collection. Auction them off? can’t throw all those away, that would be a big disrespect to him since he was a true “sneakerhead”. I wanted to go to the show in SC, but didn’t feel like driving downtown and dealing with traffic, then later that night I got the email on my bb and quickly twisted a real phat blunt in AM/Barker memory thinking they had died. Then I got the email the other day saying he was found dead, stopped everything I was doing and twisted 1 for him.
this guy was my favorite sneakerhead.
