Just a few days ago we previewed adidas’ Torsion 2009 collection, displaying a wide array of classic styles reinvented. However, we get a look at two recently releases Torsion models, the ZX 7000 and ZX 9000.

The ZX 7000 comes in a combination of black, dark onyx and lead while the ZX 9000 is the contrasting model which features a white, neo white and lead. Both styles sport a square pattern from the back side panel to the toe of the shoe. The ZX 7000 and ZX 9000 are now available at The Good Will Out.

Lacoste has clearly made efforts to distinguish themselves as not only a respectable clothing brand, but a competitor among the bigger companies in the sneaker industry. After sparking a couple collaborations over the past few years, Lacoste is teaming up with Oxfrord based sneaker boutique, ryouki.

The Double Negative is a variation of the Lacoste Missouri and features a combination of elements to make anyone take notice. Made up of a combination of grey, black and white, other highlights include mesh, suede and 3M paneling. Furthermore, ryouki branding also appear including the mens logo and company logo on the tongue. Release is scheduled for sometime around November. Via Crooked Tongues.

After already reporting a complex looking black/true yellow Vans Vault Slip-On LX, the same style is recycled using a simplified white and black combination. Several variations of a combination of black and white stripes appear on this Slip-On, ranging from to black on white to white on black in diagonal and traditional stripes. We would’ve liked to see a more liberal use of stripes, but nevertheless something different from the traditional Vans look. Available now at ripe.

This year marks Converse’s 100th anniversary, they continue to honor their centennial with a collection of sneakers in various forms. Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen Converse release sneakers using the classic silhouette of the Chuck Taylor with an emphasis on materials. For instance, a collection of patent leather All Stars are seen above in three different colors, white, red and black. The sneakers transform from a casual shoe to a sneaker reminiscent of formal dress shoes. ripe has the three Converses available now.

For those who have ever attended a DunkXChange, you may recall seeing the customization work done by Rebel Aire, who displays his work on various types of sneakers including Air Force 1s and Dunks. He even has a catalog showing off works done for his celebrity clientèle. For the next quarter of the DunkXChange tour, headlining the event is Active Ride Shop who partnered up with DXC and Rebel Aire for a limited pair of Supra Skytops.

Featuring a wrinkled patent upper and Active logo at the rear of the sneaker, the sneakers are anything but the traditional colors of Active coming in black, purple, turquoise and silver. Furthermore, a limited deck accompanies the shoes also worked on by the three groups. The Vegas DunkXChange has already seen a winner of the collaboration. Via Rebel Aire.

DUNKXCHANGE SF AUG 30TH AND 31ST PRESENTED BY ACTIVEMAILORDER.COM

The Dunkxchange will be hitting SF on aug 30th and 31st. There will be two days of fun, music, sneakers and clothing.

The first day Aug 30th we will be throwing a skate jam at Petrero Del Sol Skate park(25th st, Petrero San Francisco, CA) with Urban Era and Activemailorder.com. This day will be filled with games of skate, best trick and just a free for all skate session. There will be a live demo by Urban Era and others. Prizes will be given out to the winners and the person with the best trick of the day will get a special grand prize provided by supra, dxc, rebelaire, and activemailorder.com. There will also be pre sale dunkxchange tickets at the skate day for $8 bucks.

The official dunkxchange will go down in SF on Aug 31st at City Nights(715 Harrison st, San Francisco, CA)from 1pm to 6pm and it will be an all age event. This event will feature special giveaways by our sponsors as well as live Djs spinning and tons of product to buy, trade or sell. The event will be hosted and presented by Activemailorder.com and Tickets at the door will be $10.

We’ve witness our fair share of Air Jordan Spizike releases, but the hybrid sneaker has experienced a slow down since its initial release a few years ago. Pictured above is the latest model which is made up of a black upper complimented by cactus and violet accents.

Following the pattern set by past releases, the black base is subtle, but the bright cactus and violet off-set the direction of the sneaker with its contrasting look. Once again, these sneakers will be sold exclusively to Europe residents, but Marquee Sole has select sizes.
