We’ve seen Bape take a new approach over the past few weeks and their Socksta is the newest item to be seen on the net. Unfortunately, not much information has been released surrounding this “Socksta”, even the name isn’t the official, but we do know that it will be available in four color-ways retailling at 7, 140 Yen each. Its officially a wrap for Bape. I never thought there could be a such thing as “over-exposure” but with Lil’ Wayne, Pharrell Williams and everybody else who jumped on this “copy-cat” Nike brand, they have come to the end of the road.
Suits them well though for building up a name by making a shoe that looks like bootleg Air Force 1’s though.
Seriously though….how many of y’all would rock a shoe that looks like a Jordan 14 or any other model, but was called something else??? That **** is called bootleg where I’m from. They throw a $200.00 + price tag on it and people think it’s fashion….. NO!!!! That **** is bootleg!!!
