ima old head…i had these joints the first time around in 89 when a kid didn't have to wait in line… we were rockin these ***** before cats started gettin killed for em. I'm not gonna front and say i won't cop these…cuz to be honest, I already got the trades in line. Two pair of IV's comin to me, all i had to do was come off of 1 pair of OG taxi 12s… which i have enough of. I don't give a **** if the netting is angled wrong, or the jumpman is on the back, or if the ankle padding is weak..**** that.. i want some new IVs that i can beat the piss out of in the street…on the train…etc…COPPED via trade

Everybody's filpping out over the IV but we still haven't seen a picture of the XIX. It would be better if the IV said Nike Air on the heel though.

well, i was around for the first round of IVs, and back then, it was like if you had parents that had the money to buy you a pair, then fuckn lucky you. that was 20 years ago. at this point, who the **** cares about the quality. no ones gonna buy a retro IV to go balling in. the shoe is classic, its a beautiful design, it happens to be incredibly comfortable on the feet, and thats all that really matters. thats why i'm probly gonna buy the pack. for the memories really. if the difference in quality is so important, and the 99 retro is so ******* great, then why don't you all take those 99 retros onto the blacktop and play in them on a regular basis and see how long they last, and then lets see how happy you are about their "quality"

its crazy cuz the rating is almost five stars yet the comments are mostly complaints on this one. this shoe looks hot- the hell with $600 for some OGs. by no means am i saying these are better than the OGs but to me 600 is like 3 pairs of hot kicks and personally i would rather have three pairs vs the one pair of OG IVs.
