Although not a official nickname, this Nike Dunk SB Mid resembles the Tokyo Dunks which released in January 2004. As you can see the Nike Dunk SB Mid Tokyo is all White except the SB on the strap, and what looks like a little bit on the tongue. Nsb has said a expected release date is for late 2008.

if these are HEMP. Im feeling that, not necessarily in white, but im feeling the hemp, period. If they drop in canvas, i’ll wipe my ass with them in the store. BET

those look fresh. the only problem with shoes like that is if you get them dirty its hard to clean them.

if nike changes these to have a gum sole, they might just be my first pair of dunks. even if theres no change, its still a hot pair.
and if i can afford, i might get 2 pairs. one to rock as is, brag that i have tokyo mids, and a second pair to custom…white canvas makes a great base for custom work, and dunks make a great shoe for custom work.

it looks canvas to me. if they went with hemp, i think it may be a bit more obvious with the weave structure (larger fibers). could be wrong. but im leaning towards canvas. and for summer — these are perfect.
