Jordan brand has been tossing curve balls at us this whole year with unexpected releases and the release of a few new models including the Jordan PHYL. The Jordan PHYL has been featured on here a few times, but there hasn’t been much news constantly revolving around it like the past few Air Jordan releases.
However, the Varsity Red Jordan PHYL is bound to turn some heads with its clean design and curves of the PHYL. A simple Varsity Red and White color-way is applied to a leather upper which looks very stylish and subtle. In addition, the Air Jordan 1 logo appears on the side of the along with the Jumpman logo on the heel and tongue. The Varsity Red Jordan PHYL will be releasing March 31st, 2008. Via Hangtime.

I think there was a mix up with the release date for these sneakers I got mines last week monday I really like them the leather is good quality and is quite comfortable, aw for those who dont no the back says 1978 because the shoe was made for coach who cut him from the laney high school team that year and it is a dedication to him

Interesting. Dont think I would copp unless I was a collector, but I buy my shoes to wear. Still, I do like the concept of the shoe's dedication to the MJ's former high school coach.
BTW, M is 1000, C is 100, L is 50……so MCML = 1950. We should all know by now XXVIII = 28. 1950 + 28 = 1978.
