god damn y’all are Americans and you know so little? Why the Black Panther reference? A Black Fist IS NOT the exclusive trademark of the Black Panther movement, It simply meant Black solidarity in the face of the OVERWHELMING, Prevalent White Racism of the time (1968 remember not long ago when Black Americans were still fighting to be recognized as human beings). Anyway read up on Tommie Smith and John Carlos and maybe y’all learn the significnce of the fist.

Very difficult not to make the Black Panther connection when Tommie Smith was interviewed at Beijing with a Puma hat on, which has a giant black Panther on it…not sure there are too many black Pumas. Seems like a convenient brand name and logo for his cause, especially when its black in color. Probably related to 40th anniversary of the infamous gesture. Puma needs to rethink their associations. Wow…I thought we Americans had gotten past all that.
