Early March we confirmed that some Air Jordan Retro 1 Highs would release in Winter of 2008, and now have a follow up with some catalog images. As you can see, Jordan Brand has added a strap to the Air Jordan Retro 1 High.
Already, a lot of people are angered by the newly acquired strap, giving them a Nike Vandal look, rather than the Jordan I (or Dunks).
On the good side, a Air Jordan Retro 1 Low in Black, Red will release, looking identical to the Original (but low). Another pair which is predominately Red will release to the top 325 stores. More images after the jump, via TheRetroKid.
We received word sometime back from Jordan Brand that a Air Jordan Force Fusion would release inspired by the Air Jordan 20. For now, we have seen all expected Air Jordan Force Fusions.
Using the White, Black, Red color scheme, the Air Jordan Force Fusion 20 is identical to the original release, only part taken from the Air Force 1 is the sole. A release date coming soon, via TheRetroKid.
Although not a official nickname, this Nike Dunk SB Mid resembles the Tokyo Dunks which released in January 2004. As you can see the Nike Dunk SB Mid Tokyo is all White except the SB on the strap, and what looks like a little bit on the tongue. Nsb has said a expected release date is for late 2008.
Following up on the Air Force Force Fusion 5 posted earlier today, a new model has appeared online, this time a Low model. The Air Jordan Force Fusion 5 Low contains a Black and Varsity Red color scheme.
On top of the nice colors picked out, this Air Jordan Force Fusion 5 Low contains all over print “Is it the Shoes?”, which is featured on the uppers and sole. Via Heat23/Airrandy.
Some might wonder when the Air Jordan Force Fusions will stop releasing, while others are excited on the releases. Either way, here is a new pair never before seen online (till now) of the Air Jordan Force Fusion 5 Grey Nurse.
As some of you may know, the Air Jordan 5 was inspired by the World War II British and American Fighter planes which was painted to resemble a Grey Nurse Shark. And now, this Air Jordan Force Fusion 5 (V) pictured takes on the role.
Another nice addition to the Air Jordan Force Fusion 5 Grey Nurse is the MJJ stitched at the heel, which of course stands for Michael Jeffery Jordan. As of now, no information on a release, but we will have the information for you. Thanks to Sole-Locker for the pictures.
A new concept just like the Dub Zero and Spizike, the Air Jordan 6ix (Six) Rings uses a mixture of past Jordan’s. At a quick look, we can see the Air Jordan 11 (mid panel), 13 (sole), 8 (tongue) 12 (lace loops).
The colorway used on this Air Jordan 6IX (Six) Rings is from the Air Jordan 11 Concords. Expected release date is November 1st 2008, which is a long way off. Via TheRetroKid.
In other news: The image is tagged that the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam will release again on January 24th 2009, but this has not been confirmed.
Jordan Brand has no intent on stopping, nor slowing down on the hybrid models, but one thing is for sure, they are getting better. Here the new Air Jordan Team 2.5 debuts, a mixture of the Air Jordan 2 and Air Jordan 3.
The Air Jordan Team 2.5 contains the Air Jordan 3 sole, tongue, heel tab, and the Jordan 2 Wings logo, mid section, and toe box. Also added is a exposed air unit towards the heel. A release date and more information coming soon. Via TheRetroKid.
When images first dropped of the Air Jordan Spizike Cool Grey, not a lot of information was known, but the great thing was, the Jordan Spizike Cool Grey was seen on Michael Jordan’s feet.
Thanks to MaplewoodBootCamp aka SneakGeekZ, a virtual look of the Air Jordan Spizike Cool Grey is provided to us. As stated by the man himself, the quality looks pretty good. More information on a release coming soon. Keep up the great work SneakGeekZ.
Jordan brand has been tossing curve balls at us this whole year with unexpected releases and the release of a few new models including the Jordan PHYL. The Jordan PHYL has been featured on here a few times, but there hasn’t been much news constantly revolving around it like the past few Air Jordan releases.
However, the Varsity Red Jordan PHYL is bound to turn some heads with its clean design and curves of the PHYL. A simple Varsity Red and White color-way is applied to a leather upper which looks very stylish and subtle. In addition, the Air Jordan 1 logo appears on the side of the along with the Jumpman logo on the heel and tongue. The Varsity Red Jordan PHYL will be releasing March 31st, 2008. Via Hangtime.
Nike follows-up the Donatello Dunk SB Mid with the future release of the Michelangelo Dunk SB Low. The Dunk SB Low gets its inspiration by the colors seen on Michelangelo who wears an Orange bandanna and uses two nun-chucks as his weapon of choice.
The main colors used shades of Green, Orange, and Grey. The color combination is anything but consistent, it seems that the color-way doesn’t seem to fit together, something that isn’t usually said about the SB line of Dunks. But, nothing is for certain on this Dunk SB Low. No word on release date but it is reported that the Michelangelo Dunk SB Low will be released later this year, stay posted for more info. Via NSB.
