Over the weekend the Air Jordan 17 Black/Metallic Silver Countdown Pack debut, but we only had one picture. This second look will take you a little deeper, may change your mind on this pair.
The Original Air Jordan XVII contained leather uppers, but Jordan Brand has will launch the Countdown version with Black Nubuck. This actually will help with creasing, while the leather pair wrinkled fast.
Releasing in May 2008, packaged with the beloved Air Jordan Carmine 6, equaling the number 23. Retail is $310. Via Marqueesole.

Guess who’s back! Been on a little sabbatical and, traveling. And coppin’ mad kicks. And it looks like I’m back just in time. I can’t wait for this pack. Even though I like the OG of the XVII with the leather uppers, I think this is an improvement and will definitely be a instant classic. I think the nubuck gives these the life that they were missing before. They look way more vibrant and, the musical notes stand out more on the strap because of that(which will make me wear the strap. I didn’t with the OG’s). These with the carmines… what more can I say. A collectors dream and, the “BEST PACK SO FAR”, hands down!!! 5 *****’s out of 5.

man i hate lenty nubuck, but love the 17. they have always had music notes on the lace cover, these shoes were inspired by jazz music and golf. if you see the sole of the shoe the grips actually resemble a golf course.

My lady copped these 4 me and I remember how they killed my feet. I had to break them in for awhile before they were even comfortable. But once broken in, they were smooth ballin shoes. So really, I’m in the air about them……I’m for sure coppin for the 6s but not sure about the 17s at this point.

if it goes according to the pattern so far…. one of the shoe will be all black and one red black and white.. I have read that the colorways will be space jam XI’s (which would mean all black pair) & red/blk/wht XII’s… I call it the all black, red/blk/whte theory .. I mean who’s gonna kno the truth.. anybody can say anything on this site, we only know when jordan brand themselves say it on a dvd or on jumpman or a press conference..look at first 4 packs… first pack all black X’s and blk red white XIII.. 2nd pack all blk XIV and red blk whte IX….blk whte read VI’s and all black XVIIs. red white II’s and black metallic XXIs..
