This morning at the Nike New York headquarters, Sneaker Files learned straight from the lips of Gentry Humphrey and Tinker Hatfield that the Air Jordan XX4 (Jordan 24) has been conceived.
In other news, the Air Jordan XX3 was also unveiled to the public this morning!
Neither Tinker nor Gentry would confirm more than the fact that work towards the Air Jordan XX4 (Jordan 24) is underway. More news from our intimate morning at Nike’s Air Jordan XX3 event (and exclusive interviews with Tinker and Gentry) will be posted later today.

Whats wrong with you people. Jordan has earned the right to make shoes as long as he wants. The man was the greatest player ever. I will buy shoes as long as they make em and I was disappointed to hear they were stopping at 23. Now that there appears to be a 24 I have hope! SOme of you are young and don’t remember watching every second of every game from 1985 through his latest retirement with the Wizards. That man brought me more joy for basketball than anyone before and since. He was amazing. Before Kobe and before Lebron there was only Michael. i'm all for new jordans, besides they could stop at 45 or even 85 for numbered jays and it would have some significance……..or by new jordans, they simply mean a pro-level basketball shoe coming out, though the name might not be numbered. however, the 23's are hella ugly, and any new jordans for the future need to keep the performance of newer jordans, but change the look back to how it used to be.
i wouldnt mind shoes that feel like 18.5s on the inside, with the zoom air, the CF plate and the inner liner, but look more like the 4s. i think that jordan brand should try to pull that off, because it would be a kickass shoe. i love my 18.5s for how comfortable they are, but i think newer jordans look whack.
…and kobe cant take over the jordan line! jordan brand is something thats attached to MJ's life, not just an amazing basketball player but also someone who has/had a great sense of fashion, one that went and still does go in its own direction that only michael jordan can take it to, nobody else!
i say he had a great fashion sense only because i think the newer jordans look uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugly in most cases, and my personal most-wanted jordans are the 3s and 4s, great ball shoes for their time and great looking shoes for all time.

chillllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll im not trying to hate, i just think that only the older jordans look amazing and the new ones have been all about finding a good court shoe that mike, G and tink all just went with the flow and combined the most modern stuff, for the comfort and for the look. because tink may design it, but MJ and gentry humphrey still have to both approve it, and i love the comfort level of newer shoes, but they have to stop riding the newest **** with the look of the shoe, and go back to the classics for inspiration. thats not hate, thats just my opinion on what looks good and why i want look and comfort together…..and i can come up with a better design for the 23s right now, you take the 3s (MJ said himself, the best looking jays ever), the fingerprint idea on the bottom of the 23s, and the newest comfort tech out there, and spin it together….make it look different enough from the 3s that it holds its own as its own style, but still takes inspiration from the 3s. that would capture MJ's style, and at the same time make a comfortable and good performing ball shoe.
i dont just want performance at that price. i dont just want looks at that price. if i pay for the jumpman, i want the classic look and the cutting-edge comfort to come with it, not just one of the above.

i know I'm late, but it needs to be said. The only reason we all thought it would be stopping at 23 is because of his number when in reality it should have stopped when he finally got outta the league. It is about money it always has been, but why wouldn't it be. if your selling things the root behind it is money and i don't blame anyone for that (including his ex-wife). Why not bring out the 24's i bet they're another revolutionary pair to ball in just like the XXIII's. I bet they sell out like the XXIII's even tho everyone and their brother will hate on em til the day they drop then the hallway's packed in front of finishline and footlocker. I think they should stop at 23, but I do think they shouldof made the last air jordan sneaker the best one. Jordan will not end because there are no more numbers. They could make more fusions and make spizikes and stuff like that.
