Yes, we have seen many fake sneakers featuring Sponge Bob Square Pants, but now A Bathing Ape will release a official Sponge Bob Bape Sta. As well, a Bape Sponge Bob collection is due to release.
The Bape Sta x Sponge Bob Square Pants features Yellow Patent Leather uppers, a solid White midsole, and Sponge Bob’s face at the heel. The collection will feature T-Shirts, Hoodys, a Doll and more. An actual release date is not know, but expect a release in 2008. Via Conope.

i know this may be beyond some of you peoples mental grasp but ill break it down; bape is a japanese brand therefore their idea of hot and ours are 2 different areas of hot. granted most of you wouldnt be caught dead in these but you have to have Nigo san’s mindset and it helps to think like pharell too these arent for the avg hip hop head these are for the thinkers and who dare not to wear everything else everyone else does. so for you to say these are gay is to spit in the face of non conformity yall have lost sight of Nigo’s whole idea behind bape; limited production clothing thats not priced like everything else, if it was average it would be average priced wouldnt it but thats another story.

^^ Yeah Nigo’s whole idea is to milk this bape thing until it’s dead. Come on man spongebob??? There is nothing to defend there. Yes Nike has it’s screw ups also but this is rediculous. And if he’s so much of a thinker why not make his own shoe instead of a patent leather Air Force 1 that says “APE” on it. He has done a lot for Japan fashion don’t get me wrong but some of these ideas are just out of whack. I mean any kid on the street could’ve done this. Can’t wait for all the fakes to drop lol.
