Nike Dunk High Be True: The College Colors Program Vintage

When the Nike Dunk High originally released in 1985, Nike made color schemes specifically for College Teams. Special teams Nike represented with the Dunks are Syracuse, University of Iowa, St. Johns, Kentucky, NC State, UNLV, and University of Arizona.

Nike is calling the pack Be True: The College Colors Program, which will release the Dunks in a vintage form. Thats right, Nike is roughing up each pair, giving them a true vintage feel. As you may remember, Nike did this with some Vintage Runners, and soon to release Terminators. Available January 2008, and a price is TBA. Via Complex.

I know they can’t do all schools, but I wish they think about the schools that most people go to like community colleges and regional city 4 year colleges. Where are the Polytechs and the City Colleges? Baruach College is one of the top 100 business schools in America but Texas A&M gets a color?

  8. chuckie says:

why scuff em up? I hate it when companies sell the “already worn” look, I want new sneaks!
if i want already worn out **** i’ll go to ambercrombie and fitch wtf

  9. amphibious says:

If you scuff everything in the exact same place it ends up just looking stupid. You have to scuff the leather before the shoe is built.
