Darryl Dawkins also known as Chocolate Thunder was a monster dunker back in the ’70s and was remembered by most for shattering the glass of the back board. While breaking the glass he wore the Pony Uptown. Pony will be releasing a limited edition Uptown inspired by Chocolate Thunder. The colors are taken from the 76′ers jersey that was worn by Dawkins.
A lot of detail has gone into shoe starting from the smooth leather heel embossed with the names of his dunks and with his signature engraved into the inside upper and his number 53 stitched into the tongue. The shoe will come in two different color-ways and are available through Shoe Lab.
