We wanted to clear up some confusion on this picture of the Air Jordan Retro 8 Playoff, which we all know is releasing soon. Jumpman23 posted this image, and you can tell a lot of differences like the design at the heel, and some of the colors used.
Well this pair pictured is not releasing, the Air Jordan Retro VIII Playoff we all know in love is releasing in its original form. This pair is actually a early prototype and was pictured in the XXL magazine. Remember to check out our Air Jordan Release Dates page.

Well, I thought i was skipping the Playoff 8s, until I saw this. Then I read they were prototypes and became disappointed. I like deez much better than the OGs. JB should bust out deez ones instead. At least they would match the 8 retro jacket.

OG or, not these are ill. But i'd rather have the OG colorway with the stealth mid-sole. To bad they're just proto types 'cause i'd still cop 'em. Maybe they'll drop these later as a hyper-strike or, quick-strike with a hoodie & fitted or, a jacket.

I think the black midsole makes the white plastic thingy look out of place i donno i like the o.gs "better" but in reality i dont like either that much becuase of the blue… on the toe… purple i guess would so it more justice or jus graphite
