I love the Questar; I’ve owned three pairs that I rock daily. And with this pair, I dig the spiderweb somewhat, but overall the shoe is a) too Spiderman, not feeling that. And b) the Animal Pack’s plain black is just boring, especially on an Originals running shoe. I don’t know why Adidas can’t seem to find some middle-ground more often. Example, the Camo Pack designs they debuted last year were trying waaay too hard and in my opinion looked stupid, and now with this solid black it’s the opposite problem. Bring back the leather Oregon Ultra in Blue if you wanna do solids. I wore the living **** out of those–they were the best shoes I’ve ever owned. Subtle style with the Dillinger Webbing = SICK. Compliments for the blue Oregons used to come daily. Questars in straight-up black? Meh, I’ll pass.
