if im not mistaken these are inspired by the nike air kukini they released back in the day wit that whole "Presto/Chanjo" shoe craze…notice the pattern on the sole…looks alot like the rubber part of the upper…

i smell some kind of retro-inspired pack soming up. and the dia de los muertos dunks were clear bottom, but SBs are so expensive that these are going to be the first affordable dunks with a clear bottom, to my knowledge. unless you count clear bottom jordan 1's, because 1's and dunks are almost identical twins.

but lakers colors and black, with a neo-tribal wave across the bottom. retro-inspired, here we come. i can smell some 90's air maxes and basketball shoes coming back to life, and those max 97's coming the same month as these dunks, that probably proves it.
