Rumors have floated around about a special Air Jordan 2 Retro releasing in 2008 for Charity, which the charity is Dorenbacher. Finally we have a small preview of the Air Jordan 2 Retro Dorenbacher featuring Black, Green, Yellow and laser print.
Jason Mayden of Jordan Brand sat down with a child from Dorenbacher which is a Children’s Hospital and Research Center in Oakland California to design this Air Jordan Retro 2. Some may dislike the colors used, but you have to remember this if for a good cause. Picture via Sole Supreme.

The Dorenbacher dunks that were released were limited to just a few thousand pairs, but they had them at 90 dollars on the nike members shop…..
These being Jordans the prices is obviously going to be more, but hopefully just a couple of hundred instead of thousands

I think it’s ugly and that it looks like the kind of fake stuff dudes rock at the mall, but the idea that the kid helped with it and that it’s for a good cause is cool with me. If I had the money to throw around I’d grab them.

The whole series is a collaborative effort between kids from the Doermbecher hospital and a Nike designer. The price is going to be above retail but it will not be in the thousands. I believe the 2 is going to retail for $140. The whole series is dope and I can’t wait for the drop in November. 3 mens shoes and 3 womens shoes. People will be buying them.
