Nike Dunk Low x TWEEQiM

Early 2008, Nike will release a Dunk Low which was created by the design team at TWEEQiM. Although the design is kept on the under for now, Nike has created a 1 of 1 Dunk Low featuring Gold and Silver to display at the upcoming TWEEQiM 365moons show. Also a special laser etched Gold box featuring designs from TWEEGiM upcoming production (as well as the Dunk Lows). Thursday, August 23rd 365moons will open from 7 – 11 pm. Via Vinylpulse.

hey guys……….miQ from TWEEQiM here…….
just to keep it straight……we designed these, and we would not be caught dead wearing them either!…….they were created for our show in LA this thursday, and are much more about being a piece of art on a Nike canvas, if you will……….and not about “those would look great on my feet”. the actual sneaks that are coming out next year, is a much more subtle approach, more tone on tone, and no metallics. it is a complete story that wraps around the shoes……starting on one, ending on the other…….and even spills off onto items that are coming with the pair. yes, the line art is still there, and even more nuts……….but the “bling” will be on zero. as i said……these are just for our solo art show coming up, and Nike and ourselves wanted to give a sneak peak of what we are doing, but in a real flashy way, as the rest of the show is of that nature. think of it as a sculpture that will never see production lines………and will just come to rest in our studio after the show has run its course. dig them or not…………i appreciate all comments, and your honesty……..hopefully the production pairs will level the playing field.
