Japanese retailer, atmos, has teamed up with New Balance yet again to create a new version of the New Balance M576 ‘Face Off 2 Turbo’. The model has been fitted with a Black/Pink colorway, featuring a speckled Black upper, Pink midsole/lining, quilted toe box, and glow-in-the-dark New Balance logo. Made especially for Joe Johnson and Mike Bibby of the Atlanta Hawks, Jordan Brand has prepared a special team version of the Air Jordan 16.5 for their Thanksgiving Day showdown against the Orlando Magic. Although the shoes couldn’t provide a win against the top seeded Magic, the contrasting Blue and Red colorways certain made for a pretty Holiday sneaker spotting. No word on whether or not the colorways will hit retailers anytime soon, but it looks like a round of team releases might breathe some much needed new life into the AJ16.5.

The Air Jordan XII “Flu Game” in the classic black/varsity red colorway will be retailing for $149.99 and officially go on sale this Friday, November 27, 2009 as probably the biggest Black Friday sneaker drop of this year. While many are looking to hit department stores early, sneakerheads nationwide have their eyes set on this AJ XII as the top product on their wish list. With a revamped upper that consists of black suede, this shoe also has a sickly caricature on the heel situated in between the year in which his airness played in the NBA Finals against the Utah Jazz with flu-like symptoms and the number of points he dropped- 38.
